SailTime Croatia Flotilla - Day 8
Day 8 - Saturday 30th May
Kremik - London
We’re up again at 7 - seems far too soon - guess it was past two when I finally made it to bed - all a bit fuzzy this morning.
Anyhow, all passes quickly - throw clothes into my bag - make sure Joseph has packed everything too - gather the electronics - cameras without batteries - PC’s, phones, 12v chargers, iPod speakers . . . one last check around, then off to the airport.
We’ve arrived late - Sunsail’s idea to save us hanging around - so we’re last to check in - with no seats - so after trying to negotiate with the ground staff - I’m pleased to say Penny and David were happy to change seats with Joseph and I, so we could sit together on the plane. Two short hours later, we’re on the ground at Gatwick. Very strange to think of such a different world so close and easy to reach. Goodbye’s are said at the airport - everyone exchanging contact details and promises to join us again on our next adventure. Let’s hope it’s as good as this one - we’re off to the BVI in November on the next SailTime flotilla - so watch the blog for more details. I hope you’ve enjoyed reading about our journey.
